OCN Marketplace Terms of Service

OCN is a neutral platform connecting users with independent service providers. OCN does not employ, vet, or guarantee the work of these providers. Users are responsible for verifying licenses and insurance.

1. Neutral platform

OCN is a technology venue. Providers listed on OCN are independent businesses. OCN does not employ, supervise, direct, screen or endorse any provider and is not a party to any agreement between a customer and a provider.

2. As-is service

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, quality of work, or accuracy of provider profiles. Licenses, insurance and other details on a profile are self-reported by the provider.

3. Your responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking a provider's license, insurance and suitability before hiring. Providers are responsible for their own work, permits, taxes, workers and coverage.

4. Fees

Any lead fee or platform service charge is shown as a separate line item before you confirm. Nothing is charged without that confirmation.

5. Mutual indemnification

Each user agrees to defend and indemnify OCN and other users against claims arising from that user's own conduct, work, or breach of these terms.

6. Binding arbitration and class-action waiver

Any dispute with OCN will be resolved by individual binding arbitration, not in court, except small-claims matters. You waive any right to bring or join a class, collective or representative action.

7. Records

When you accept these terms we record the version, time and network address of the acceptance.
